Sahara's Path to Dance Excellence

Hi! My name is Sahara Ashford, and I’m a passionate dancer with big dreams. This summer, I’ve been given an amazing opportunity to attend a dance intensive program in July that could be a major stepping stone in my dance career.

This summer, I’ve been accepted into the Earl Mosley’s Institute of the Arts (EMIA), a prestigious dance intensive held at Hofstra University. EMIA is known for its inspiring environment where dancers come together to train, create, and collaborate under the guidance of renowned choreographer Earl Mosley and a faculty of world-class artists. It’s not just about technique—it’s about expressing your voice through movement and building a supportive artistic community.

This intensive is more than just classes—it's a chance to train with top instructors, grow as an artist, and connect with other dedicated dancers from around the country. Attending would help me build the skills, confidence, and connections I need to take my dancing to the next level.
