In Memory of Sahar Haidar

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un.

Hi everyone, my name is Roaa Haidar, and I want to share a few words about my beloved sister, Sahar Haidar. Sahar was just 10 years old when she passed away from septic shock, as her body could no longer fight off an infection. Her immune system had already been through so much due to numerous operations and procedures.

Sahar was truly the sweetest soul — full of light, love, and innocence. I often wish I had shared more of her on social media so the world could feel even a fraction of the joy and blessings she brought into our lives.

Her final days were not easy, and while I wish I could say she didn’t suffer, we find comfort in knowing she is now at peace.

My family and I are incredibly grateful for all the love, prayers, and support you’ve shown us. Thank you for keeping Sahar in your thoughts and for anything you’re able to give — it means the world to us.
