Sahana Faaiza's complex open heart surgery

Hi, I'm writing this post on behalf of my brother. His daughter Sahana 4 year is having Arterial tortuosity syndrome which is a very rare syndrome. Overall only 40 people have this condition.

the diameter of the valve keeps on increasing with no significant thickening and it can burst at any time.

there will be 3 procedures that need to be done to fix this problem. they are now, at age 12, at age 22. In short, the aortic valve will replace with an artificial valve and this valve will be replaced with a new one with an increased diameter.
