A free, DIVERSE, independent theatre program created from the minds of independent artists, aiming to share a different light on a classic tale.
We are asking for donations for costumes, set pieces, props, and lighting and sound equipment. Without a theatre to back this production, it becomes harder to be able to access certain resources that we would likewise have.
Unlike any other Shakespeare Show, we aim to make this production weekend an entire festival that celebrates the diversity, life, and culture of Saginaw and how it ties into classic literature.
A cast of 50% local Black and People of Color performing in lead prominent speaking roles.
A new fresh look on an over 400-year-old play with a feminist twist.
The support we get from Saginaw would be so reassuring and comforting that what we are doing is something the city can be appreciative of grow and learn from.
We are set to premiere on the riverbanks of the Saginaw River in Old Town on MAY 26th, 2021
