My darling daughter Sage has a rare genetic condition called Constitutional Mismatch Repair Deficiency Syndrome. In plain language she has been forced to battle brain and colon cancer over the past several years. Unfortunately, the battle is coming to an end; we have called in hospice this week. 

We could greatly use your help with the funeral expenses. The quote we received is for close to $20,000, which will be a tremendous burden for her mother and me. As is typical, most of that will be due at the time of the funeral. As of right now, I am not certain how we are going to come up with that money.
