Sagel’s Last Festival

What is there to say about someone as amazing and beautiful as Sagel? Too much. I’ll try to do him some justice, although it’s hard to capture someone in words, let alone someone who was as loving and giving as him. Sagel was the kind of person whose smile put all of your worries at ease. His calm demeanor, his soft and sweet ways of talking and treating you, his open-mindedness and accepting nature, his welcoming presence, his warm embracing energy—these are a few of this remarkable man’s characteristics. The way he made you feel, the wisdom that poured out of him like you were talking to a fatherly figure, touched everyone who knew him. He was truly one of a kind, setting an example for everyone around him. It was impossible to leave an interaction with him without feeling better than how you walked in. I know he will be missed by his parents and girlfriend. I know his friends are devastated. There is a hole where he once stood. But as he told me about his friend, what he would want for us is to live as happily as possible, party hard, and remember to celebrate our life. His presence will forever be felt by those who knew him, so he will never truly be gone. We love and miss you, Sagel.
