Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit Blue Mountain Foundation. Any money donated will go to helping Sage's mom obtain a Toyota Sienna. Medicaid will pay for the conversion needed to the van to make it wheelchair accessible. They won't pay for the van.
A little about Sage. Sage is a funny and loving kid. He's so much more than his diagnosis. I want that to be the focus. We're not going to discuss the prognosis. You can Google it. We're going to focus on improving his quality of life and helping him achieve great things.
He was diagnosed at 3 1/2 with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. He's now 8. Duchenne is a progressive neuromuscular disorder. Prognosis is tricky because I don’t want him to know that it is until he is a little older. He understands why he needs a wheelchair right now.
He knows his muscles will get weaker, get really tired, and fall sometimes. But he doesn’t know just how much or that he is beginning to decline.
Sage is kind-hearted, friendly, happy, loves art, nature, science, Pokémon . He is an official member of the King University men’s basketball team and a tricities champion.
You're donation is going to a 501c3 and is tax deductible*
