Hi, our friend Sage was just hit with a large vet bill for her sweet and young kitty Sushi. This couldn't have happened at a worse time as she has her own recent hospital bills she is dealing with.

Sushi wiggled during the xray he received so they cant be certain he didnt break his leg, but currently he is unable to walk. He may need more xrays if he doesnt improve in the next few days. We are relieved Sushi isnt in worse shape,his spine appears to be well, and he should recover. We dont know how he initially hurt himself. However the monetary issue is the big source of stress currently since Sushi may also need more treatment in the future. Anything you can help with will be of immense help for Sage. Thank you for your help.

Update. Sushi had to go back to the vet shortly after we posted this. Sage went to a second vet and they believe it isnt an injury at all but meningitis from some source, possibly viral. Sage is waiting on blood work to come back. In the last few days Sushi's health has improved but isnt perfect. His back toes are locked, paralyzed, but his fever seems to have past. Sushi is even playing a little bit. Sushi is hobbling around but being more active, and asking for snuggles. Sage has a few more vet visits in the future so if one has something to spare it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you to all for the help already received.
