Sagamore Rowing Donation

Sagamore Rowing Association (SRA), a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, was particularly hard hit by the pandemic, which financially devastated its operations. SRA has been a community resource for 48 years, bringing the sport of rowing to the Long Island Community and touching the lives of many young men and women, many of whom raced at national and international levels, and earned college scholarships.
 
The pandemic brought about a suspension and ultimately, a shutdown of all rowing programs.  It was at a most vulnerable time, and all program revenue was halted and lost.  Though revenue was ceased, our costs remained, and since March, it has been difficult to manage our responsibilities with no income.
 
We are now in the process of reopening and preparing programs for the community.  It is critical that we raise funds to allow SRA to once again resume our mission of providing quality rowing programs for Long Island.
 
 There are still obligations that must be satisfied.  We are seeking $25,000 from this GoFundMe drive.  For donors who contribute $250.00 or more, we are offering a free learn-to-row program.  We are grateful for all donations of any amount.
