My name is David Asher. I am a yeshiva bachur (student) dedicating my life to Torah study, and now I am preparing to take an important step forward: enrolling in a year-long program in Safrus, the sacred Jewish scribal arts.

This program will train me to become a Sofer Stam – a Jewish scribe who writes mezuzot, tefillin, and Torah scrolls with precision, holiness, and devotion. For me, this is not only a personal spiritual aspiration but also a way to serve Hashem and contribute to the continuity of our sacred tradition.

The total cost of the program is $3,300 USD, and I must raise the amount by June 15th. Your support will not only help me pursue this sacred mission but it will also help my parents with a lot of the financial burden of education.
