Hi, I’m Elle and I’m raising funds for my daughter’s bestie. For her safety, I’ll just call her Shelly. Shelly’s family is in need of funds to navigate the family court system. No child should have to live with abuse and be in constant fear of being forced into an unsafe situation every other weekend. The adults in Shelly’s life—teachers, coaches, etc.—have seen the signs of abuse and will testify for her, but due to Shelly’s age, she needs a guardian ad litem to speak for her in court. Unfortunately, no matter how much evidence is available, going to court is still expensive for victims of abuse. A GAL and a lawyer are needed.
