In these extremely difficult times, it's vital for our friends and neighbors to come together and lift each other up—so the team at danceRiot is launching a down and dirty weekly virtual dance party with a purpose: Safety Dance! In response to the epidemic of racial injustice that is being inflicted on our communities of color, Safety Dance! will raise funds for organizations that are working overtime to support our hardest hit communities. So when you get home from the protests, you can set down your signs, peel off your masks, and stomp out your frustrations with us to recharge your inner battery for the fight ahead.
The suggested donation is $20, but we know times are tight so we invite you do what you can! If you can donate more than $20 to these very deserving organizations please do so.

June 6th 7:00 – 8:30 pm EST (4:00 – 5:30 pm PST) — DJ Jonathan Williams will spin the deepest of funk and smoothest of soul
All funds raised will be donated 50/50 to Know Your Rights Camp and Minnesota's Black Visions Collective to support their efforts to combat police brutality and achieve racial justice. If you can't make this one, please consider a donation!
Please note, all donations received after Friday June 12th at 11:59 PM will go to the next Safety Dance! charity.
