Bringing Joy on Saint Nicholas Day in Ukraine
While we continue to operate our free social ambulance in L'viv, Ukraine, transporting displaced people around the city at no charge, December is approaching!
December 6th is Saint Nicholas Day—known to many as Santa Claus Day—in Ukraine. Each year, children (often with the help of their mothers) write heartfelt letters to St. Nick, sharing their wishes and dreams.
This year, we’ve spoken with St. Nick himself (our partner, Dr Valentyn from PTAHA ), and he’s promised something extraordinary: gifts for 500 displaced and orphaned children currently housed in L’viv. That’s a big step forward from the 300 children we reached last year, and the 100 children the year before.
With your support, we can make sure every child feels the magic of the season, even in difficult times. I’ll share photos as soon as they arrive, but for now, we are asking for your kind support as we source 500 gifts .
✨Together, we can keep the spirit of Saint Nicholas alive for these children.✨
