We provide journalists, humanitarian workers, civil society representatives, and war crimes documenters with essential safety, first aid, risk assessment, and psychological resilience training.

Daily Humanity is a non-profit organization based in Denmark and Ukraine, aiming at strengthening physical and mental safety of journalists, civil society organizations, and humanitarian workers operating in hostile environments.
The mission of Daily Humanity is to enhance global safety immunity that leads to resilience, democracy, good governance, and peace.
WHAT WE HAVE ACHIEVED SO FAR?
- Since 2022, we have trained more than 1200 journalists, media professionals, documentarians and humanitarian workers who work in frontline zones in Ukraine, with safety, first aid, and resilience skills. This training program proved to be highly effective and impactful (you can access results of the independent evaluation study here).
- We developed an innovative and engaging Mental Resilience training program to boost resilience skills among Ukrainian media workers, and already started scaling it up to wider groups of population, ready to scale internationally.
- We partnered with prominent experts and media and civil society organizations, among them: Dart Center for Trauma and Journalism, Reporters Without Borders, Free Press Unlimited, Committee to Protect Journalists, People in Need, Suspilne (Ukraine’s Public Broadcasting Company), Insight NGO, Kyiv Pride, Ukrainska Pravda, Radio Free Europe, National Union of Journalists of Ukraine, and many more.
- Our network of proactive and prominent civil society actors, journalists, humanitarian workers, leaders, and partners is growing, with at least 3600 direct contacts being engaged in various activities.

We are fundraising 300,000 krone (around €35,000) to ensure 1 month of work in Ukraine.
We will be able to provide:
- HEFAT, First Aid, and Mental Resilience training to civil society organizations, including media, for free
- Access to the informational resources and opportunities
- Access to safety and security advice for people in need and those working on frontlines
- Equip local communities in war zones with essential knowledge and practical tools via free access to our online platform
Funds that will exceed the initial goal, will be used for further activities after a 3-month period.
