HELP US PROVIDE SAFE DRINKING WATER TO THOSE IMPACTED BY THE RECENT EARTHQUAKES IN TURKIYE AND SYRIA.
More than 19,000 people have been killed and tens of thousands injured after a magnitude 7.8 earthquake struck Turkiye and Syria and Monday.
Thousands of buildings collapsed, and aid organizations are particularly concerned about northwestern Syria, where more than 4 million people were already relying on humanitarian assistance.
Rescue teams are now also battling snow and freezing temperatures to search for survivors following the earthquakes.
LifeStraw is partnering with local agencies and international NGOs like World Vision, to help get life-saving filters and purifiers to rescue teams and survivors -- to ensure access to safe drinking water, to avoid dehydration and disease outbreaks.
