My name is Jennifer, and I’m asking for help with a down payment for a reliable vehicle. I am the mother of two, daughter, and my son, Tru a young child with Down syndrome and complex medical needs, including a serious congenital heart condition. Tru has undergone open-heart surgery, and to keep him stable and healthy, he requires ongoing, long-distance medical care. Our only vehicle frequently breakdowns during critical travel. We were on our way to Tru’s cardiologist an appointment that is not optional. He cried in the backseat as we were broke down, overwhelmed by the noise from open windows.
