HELP MY FAMILY SURVIVE!!!!!! HELP REBUILD THEIR RESTAURANT KLEINERTZ BAD NEUENAHR!!!

My name is alisha, I live in Hoofddorp (Netherlands) but I am originally from Germany, where my family still lives. I am trying to collect money to help my family in Germany that lost everything in the flash floods in Bad Neuenahr.

Imagine your life being destroyed within minutes.

Imagine sitting on the roof of your house in the middle of the night, being surrounded by water and begging for someone to rescue your family before its too late.

Imagine watching everything you ever worked for, your house, your business, your car, slowly disappear in the floods.

Imagine all the precious memories you kept in boxes, all the photographs, your babies first fingerprints, your wedding vows, everything gone forever.

All of this happened to my sister in the night of the 14/15 of July 2021, the night no one will ever forget. The beautiful wine-growing Ahrtal- valley in Germany has suffered from the most devastating flash floods Germany has ever seen. Two months worth of rain has been released within only 2 days turning idyllic rivers into rapid streams destroying everything in their way. Whats left is a warzone; 171 dead, hundreds still missing, tens of thousands homeless, no water or electricity.

My sister not only lost their house but also their Restaurant Kleinertz. After renovating everything in 2020 they were hoping for a better year to come, with less corona restrictions and life going back to normal. They worked so hard everyday to build a future for their family. Now they're left with nothing - with no roof over their heads, no home for the kids and no work/income to help them survive this difficult time.

Please help them rebuild their family restaurant so they can provide for their kids. Please give them a future, give them hope to carry on!

All the money we collect will go directly to the restaurant (renovation work, pumping the water out of the basement, cleaning, furniture, food stocks ... )
