Urgent Appeal from Gaza - Help 16-Month-Old Baby Rima Survive

Dear friends around the world,

My name is Amir, and I am the father of Rima — a precious 16-month-old baby girl who was born amidst the relentless war on Gaza in December 2023.

Since her very first breath, Rima has known nothing but destruction, fear, and endless displacement.

We have been forcibly displaced 11 times, running from one place to another, escaping death under the bombs — abandoning what little shelter we could find just to survive.

Before the war, I worked hard in Gaza City and built a new home for my family — a dream realized after years of effort. Sadly, our house was partially destroyed, and Rima has never even seen her home. She was born into displacement, not knowing what a real home feels like.

Rima has never experienced:

Electricity

A warm, safe bedroom

Children's toys

Watching cartoons on TV

Drinking clean water

Receiving regular medical care

Simple joys and rights that every child around the world deserves — she has been deprived of them all.

Today, we live in a torn tent, struggling to survive.

There is no clean water, no nutritious food, no access to healthcare, no milk, no diapers.

The few supplies left in the market are unbearably expensive due to the complete closure of crossings and the severe blockade that has been suffocating Gaza for over a year and a half.

We urgently need your help to give Rima a real chance to live:

A safe home instead of a fragile tent

Clean water, healthy food, milk, and diapers

Access to vaccines and primary medical care

Warm clothes and a little space to dream and grow

No child should endure this cruelty.

No family should flee death 11 times to stay alive.
