Safe Ride Hotline is a volunteer-based transport service that has for objective to provide safe, supportive, and accessible transportation for transgender folks who require assistance getting to and from surgery-related appointments, ensuring that they can access necessary healthcare services without additional financial burden or logistical challenges.

The patient or the volunteer-driver typically covers transportation costs, but when the clinic is several hours away, expenses can add up quickly. In such cases, timely arrival on the day of the appointment may not be feasible, so we aim to arrange hotel accommodations and seek external funding to help cover the driver's gas expenses.
