Safe in Loving Arms Sanctuary

Hi, my name is Kevin and on behalf of Loving Arms Sanctuary I am trying to raise some much needed funds - here is a write up from their page - please take a minute to read

Our sanctuary is located on 3 acres in a beautiful country setting - over the years we have rescued many many animals and they find a safe loving forever home here or they find their way to wildlife rehab or reputable rescue organizations that we work closely with.

As a child in England I would bring home any creature that was in need and my parents instilled in me that these animals must be treated with compassion, kindness and respect.

My husband feels the same way and has worked with me for over 30 years caring for animals.

We are both vegan and we believe that no animal should ever be used or exploited - they should never be treated cruelly - there is no reason to treat any animal in this manner.

We built our Sanctuary on kindness and love and we have to make sure that animals in our care always remain safe.

We run an antique shop/flea market and accept household donations that we sell to raise money for other rescue orgs in our area ........DARA FARM SANCTUARY and TLC ANIMAL AID .......we are firm believers in helping each other so that more animals can be saved !

We dedicate ourselves to raising awareness for all animal issues!

those words are from Monica, her and Peter are both in their 70's and I personally don't know how they manage to care for the animals in their care, at last count they had 3 dogs and 30 cats and roughly a week or so ago another cat was dropped off bringing the total to 31 cats ... sadly she wasn't dropped off in a nice way by asking them to take her and care for her, a car pulled over and the door opened and the cat was tossed out in the laneway right at the road, and the car drove off ( who does that ? why are people so cruel )

the cost of food and supplies and vet bills for that many animals is immense, the dogs are wonderful and many of the cats are loving and sweet - so they hope to start trying to work towards finding many of them loving homes, sadly there are sooo many cats needing homes and adult cats are sadly over looked and hard to find homes for them, but they will try to find them only good loving homes, one step at a time.

I know times are tough for many right now, and money can be tight, but if anyone can spare a few dollars to help care for these dogs and cats, I cannot tell you how much that would be appreciated -
