I invite you to join me in supporting **HDFM (Humanitarian and Development Foundation Myanmar), an organization that has dedicated the past 4 years to improving healthcare, education, and humanitarian conditions in Myanmar. The urgency of our mission has never been greater.

Since the military coup in February 2021, Myanmar has been plunged into a crisis of unprecedented magnitude, leading to a man-made humanitarian disaster. According to the United Nations, nearly **20 million** people—nearly half of the country's population—are in dire need of humanitarian assistance.

The regime, known as the State Administration Council (SAC), has committed atrocities, including war crimes and crimes against humanity. Targeting civilian areas with indiscriminate airstrikes, they have wreaked havoc on health facilities, schools, and the very lives of healthcare workers and students. Almost **70%** of the territory is now beyond SAC control, leaving vulnerable populations in urgent need of safe healthcare options.

With your support, HDFM is actively working to build safe hospitals and healthcare facilities for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) across Myanmar in collaboration with local organizations.
