Miss (not using names for safety) left out of her home with her newborn baby in 20-degree weather in the middle of the night to get away from the baby’s abusive father. With some money she had saved, she bought an uber and a hotel room. He did not allow her to work and controlled her phone calls. She is currently staying in a hotel room with her baby for the 5th night in a row. My husband and I have paid for two more nights and have brought her food and supplies for the baby. She has no job and no money. She isn’t asking for money either. She’s looking for a safe place for her and the baby boy to stay until she gets on her feet. She has nothing, no clothes. The baby has a few outfits, but that’s it. Anything can help. Her main priority is finding somewhere to stay. Thank you so much for your help. I know God is watching over her and has placed her in our path for a reason. This man has hacked her iCloud and now knows where she is, so we are moving her somewhere different. Every shelter is full, and she is waiting on calls back, hopefully by this Friday. We want to keep her and the baby boy safe and warm until she finds a place with room.
