Safe Haven for 105 Cats and 15 Dogs in China

Our Story

We are a passionate, international team working together to rescue and care for abandoned cats and dogs in China. Our hands-on rescue work is led by a dedicated couple in Harbin, who since 2021 have opened their hearts and home to over 105 cats and 15 dogs. Supporting them is a group of volunteers based in California and New York, who help with communication, outreach, and social media—allowing us to share our journey, connect with animal lovers worldwide, and build a caring community for these animals in need.

The Challenge

Our apartment is overflowing. With so many animals in a cramped space, it’s impossible to keep everyone healthy. New rescues often arrive sick or injured, and the close quarters mean illnesses can spread quickly. Every day, we struggle to cover the costs of food, litter, medical care, and rent. We do everything we can, but the bills are overwhelming.

Our Dream

We want to move to a larger, rural property where our cats and dogs can have the space, fresh air, and comfort they deserve. With more room, we can reduce the spread of illness, provide safe outdoor enclosures, and rescue and rehabilitate even more animals in need. But we can’t do it alone.

Every dollar makes a difference. Even a small gift helps us get closer to our goal of giving these animals a better life.
