My Story:
I want to redo my bedroom floor for easy and safe transfers.
I'm a paraplegic paralyzed from the chest down, and I use a power wheelchair. My wife is my full-time caregiver. She uses a Hoyer lift to get me in and out of bed every day, and also in and out of my shower chair on “shower days” to roll me into the bathroom. Our laminate flooring, after only one year, has started cracking and tearing apart about 8 weeks ago from the weight of my power wheelchair and the Hoyer lift. Now there's a crack in the floor with a raised lip that is duct-taped and re-taped for a temporary fix. That makes moving around in my bedroom very difficult and unsafe for both of us.
We are asking for your help to replace our laminate floor with a smooth concrete coating floor, which will make transfers safer and easier. I live on a fixed income, so I'm asking for help to cover the cost of demo, materials, and installation. I found concrete flooring to be cost-efficient and much more durable than tile. The company, Concrete Coating Hawaii, will do the entire repair with a lifetime guarantee.
Any amount is greatly appreciated. May God richly bless you and return to you a hundredfold.
Please share this as it will help out a lot.
Thank you and God bless you,
Rupert & Adele Tripp
