The Dog-Rescue House in the heart of Uluwatu, Bali currently offers a safe home to 17 former street dogs.

Founder Vanessa lovingly takes care of the injured, sick and hungry animals 24 hours a day.

3 months ago, Vanessa's rental contract with the former accommodation was suddenly terminated due to rising rents.

Thank God a new house with a small garden could be found at the last moment. She calls it the Puppy House.

Since then, the 17 dogs have been living in a very small space, but well protected.

The daily expenses for food, visits to the vet and fresh water can hardly be managed by Vanessa alone.

The Puppy-House now urgently needs regular financial support to finish building the new accommodation and to be able to rent it for years to come. So far, only one year's rent could be paid. If the next rent is not paid soon, there is a risk of termination. We all know how quickly a year goes by.

In addition to the next annual rent, there are further costs for the expansion, which urgently needs to be completed. Gate systems are needed to separate the dogs when feeding.

Currently, feeding times are very stressful for all dogs, which has a negative impact on their health. On the street where most of the rescued dogs previously lived, the struggle for food was necessary to survive. In the Puppy House they should learn to eat in a relaxed manner.

In addition to the gate systems, a secure property boundary is urgently needed. The dogs are currently climbing up the makeshift bamboo wall like little monkeys and escaping into the neighborhood. This is not only life-threatening for the nearby chicken farm, but also for the dogs themselves. Out of anger, the farmers distribute deadly poison and try to kill the dogs.

The Puppy House urgently needs donations to ensure the care of the 17 dogs and to finance the necessary expansion.

Das Dog-Rescue Haus im Herzen von Uluwatu, Bali bietet zur Zeit 17 ehemaligen Straßenhunde ein sicheres Zuhause.

Gründerin Vanessa kümmert sich 24 Stunden am Tag liebevoll um die teils verletzten, erkrankten und hungrigen Tiere.

Vor 3 Monaten wurde Vanessa, aufgrund der steigenden Mietpreise, plötzlich der Mietvertrag mit der damaligen Unterkunft gekündigt.

Gott sei Dank konnte im letzten Moment ein neues Häuschen mit kleinem Garten gefunden werden. Sie nennt es das Puppy-House.

Hier wohnen die 17 Hunde seitdem zwar auf engstem Raum, aber dafür wohl behütet.

Die täglichen Ausgaben für Futter, die Arztbesuche und frisches Wasser sind für Vanessa kaum allein zu bewältigen.

Das Puppy-House braucht jetzt dringend regelmäßige finanzielle Unterstützung um die neue Unterkunft fertigzubauen und auch für weitere Jahre anmieten zu können. Bisher konnte nur eine Jahresmiete bezahlt werden. Wenn die nächste Miete nicht bald bezahlt wird, droht die Kündigung. Wir alle wissen, wie schnell ein Jahr um ist.

Neben der nächsten Jahresmiete stehen weitere Kosten für den Ausbau an, der dringend fertiggestellt werden muss. Gate-Systeme werden benötigt, um die Hunde bei der Fütterung zu separieren.

Zur Zeit sind die Fütterungszeiten für alle Hunde sehr stressig, was sich negativ auf ihre Gesundheit auswirkt. Auf der Straße, wo die meisten geretteten Hunde vorher lebten, war der Kampf ums Essen notwendig, um zu überleben. Im Puppy-House sollen sie lernen entspannt zu essen.

Neben den Gate-Systemen, wird dringend eine sichere Grundstücksbegrenzung benötigt. Zurzeit klettern die Hunde wie kleine Affen die provisorische Bambus-Wand hoch und verschwinden in der Nachbarschaft. Das ist nicht nur lebensgefährlich für die nahegelegene Hühner-Farm, sondern auch für die Hunde selbst. Die Farmer verteilen aus Wut tödliches Gift und versuchen die Hunde so zu töten.

Das Puppy-House braucht jetzt dringend Spenden um die Versorgung der 17 Hunde sicherzustellen und den notwendigen Ausbau zu finanzieren.
