Safe and Reliable Miller Family Car
Hey guys!
As our family and ministry requirements grow, Klarika and I are finding ourselves in different cities at the same time.
This is beginning to be more and more problematic as my old Santa Fe is down or in the mechanic's shop more than on the road. The previous owner did not properly maintain the vehicle and years of Estonian winter and salt have taken their toll.
That being said, I have come across a very well-kept 2002 Volvo V70 that is for sale. These cars, as you may know, are designed in Scandinavia for Scandinavians to drive for decades in Scandinavia.
I have also seen proof of proper maintenance of the vehicle by the current owner as it has been his wife's car for the past 6 years.
I do not need to talk about the legendary safety of Volvos, either. My family would be extremely safe in this car!
The car is selling for 2500€. That is about$3000 at time of writing.
The other money that I am trying to raise would be to have LPG installed on the Volvo. Petrol (unleaded) is currently 1.42€ per liter (about $7/gal), whereas LPG is 0.52€ per liter. Not to mention it runs cleaner and is better for the engine.
Klarika's car is petrol/LPG. It is a huge blessing as some of the places we minister are 90mins away from our home.
