Hi, I’m Ryann.

I’m a non-binary disabled lesbian, and I’ve been trying to get away from the place I’m living in for over a year. Shortly after I moved in with my best friend last summer, they passed away in this house. I haven’t been able to gather the funds needed to move since, but my mental health is severely at risk in this place, and I don’t feel safe to be myself around the other people who live here now.

I have an opportunity to improve my living situation dramatically very soon. I plan to move at the end of this month to share an apartment with people I trust. Once we take care of the costs of moving in, I can cover my half of rent and utilities, but moving is expensive. I need to gather the funds to cover my application, deposit, initial rent, any other administrative fees, and the means to move myself and my belongings. Altogether, I think this will cost me about $2,500.
