Safe Access to Handicap Ramp

Donation protected
Chris Earhart was diagnosed late last summer with a very aggressive infection in his foot which eventually worked its way into the bones and ultimately caused a shattering of his calcaneous bone. Unfortunately the only way to rid him of this potentially deadly infection was a below-the-knee amputation.
While his journey has presented many challenges, Chris has maintained a positive attitude and has progressed admirably through all phases of his physical therapy.
After spending the first several months of recovery in a small apartment that was not easily accessible or practical to his needs, we were fortunate enough find a home with a layout much more suited to moving about in a wheelchair and progressing with his assisted walking technique.
As you can see in the attached picture, the handicap ramp attached to our home leads directly to the front yard which makes for a very difficult and unsafe traverse from our vehicle to the ramp.
Our solution is to have an asphalt pad installed to serve as a handicap parking space and a paved area for safely moving to and from the vehicle.
Unfortunately, with medical expenses associated with the surgery, lengthy medical stay, and subsequent extensive physical therapy this accommodation is not in our budget. I am graciously and humbly seeking assistance to fund this project.
Thank you so much for considering a donation.
