Thelma is a single Black mother of three young children who had been suffering with a broken tailbone from a domestic violence situation for over a year. We finally got her surgery funded and she had her tailbone removed at the end of July 2022. Since then we have raised enough to support her through early recovery as well as testing and getting a brace casted for her daughter’s newly diagnosed scoliosis. Unfortunately, her family is not out of the woods yet and continues to face new crises. Thelma has suddenly started experiencing seizures and fainting episodes and is in need of funds for medical testing to find out why. Our short-term goal for this is an additional $2550. Our long-term goal will continue to be larger to support her with regular life expenses while she cannot work. Thank you in advance for any help you are able to offer!
