In Uganda art is our language, our strength, and our bridge to the world.

We founded the Safari Art Collective out of a deep belief that creativity can transform lives especially in places where opportunities are limited and voices often go unheard.

Many of our artists come from regions affected by conflict, transition, and economic hardship . As Congolese creatives painters, dancers, musicians, we carry the stories of movement, resilience, and cultural pride. We are artists shaped by struggle, but defined by hope.

In many of the communities we come from, art has often been the only space where expression is safe, where dreams can grow, and where healing can begin. The Safari Art Collective was created to honor that space and expand it, making room for more artists to learn, connect, and be seen.

Why We Started

We saw so many talented individuals living in, underrepresented, underserved, or overlooked environments, gifted artists with limited access to platforms, mentorship, or resources. And yet, they create with passion and purpose.

Safari Art Collective was born to amplify those voices. To create safe, creative spaces where individuals can express themselves, heal, and share their heritage with pride.

We believe that art is not just for galleries, it belongs in streets, schools, and communities. It is a universal language that can build unity, raise awareness, and spark real change.

Our vision

Our vision is to build a creative network, rooted in cultural identity and committed to empowerment. We want to see more artists from rural, remote, and transition-affected communities rising onto the global stage.
