Saheed Khans Masjid Construction

It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved brother Saheed Khan. 

On Wednesday 24th April 2024, he was taken away from this world, the very world which lit up with his charismatic laugh. A loving son, brother, father, uncle and friend to many, we will hold him in our memory forever.

Those that were fortunate enough to know him knew how big his heart was and how much he would go out of his way for others. Keeping that in mind, we as his family, have decided to build a masjid in his name as a form of sadaqah jariyah. 

We are doing this through Ummah Welfare Trust who have a 100% donation policy;

Building and preserving the masjid remains the Prophetic tradition of every Muslim community, and so Ummah Welfare Trust works hard therefore to construct or renovate as many as it can.

‘Whosoever builds a house (masjid) for the pleasure of Allah, whether it be small or large, Allah builds for him a house in Paradise.’

Alhamdulillah, the charity builds and renovates masjids in remote communities across South Asia, Africa, the Balkans and the Middle East. Each new masjid also runs a maktab, offering a place where poor young children can learn Islam as it has been traditionally taught.

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ

Surely we belong to Allah and to him we shall return.

May Allah SWT forgive him, elevate his status and grant him the highest levels of Jannah.
