AssalamuAlaikum. My brother Uzi Sulaiman passed away in the afternoon of the 6th of July 2020, alhamdulillah he passed away peacefully in his own home with his baby daughter near him, I tried to administer CPR to him to the best of my ability but by then he had already returned to Allah. As many of you who were lucky enough to know my brother, he was a kind and gentle soul and never ever did a bad thing to anyone. He graduated from university with a Criminology and Forensics degree, but due to his condition he decided to help my dad out part time as a taxi driver, during his time as a taxi driver he made many impressions on people and everyone praised him for his kind personality and loving nature. My brother had a heart condition called ‘cardiomyopathy and arrhythmia’ for a few years now. Now let me explain how merciful our Lord is and how my brother had many near death experiences and came out fine. When we first found out about his condition he was in the gym and passed out and had a cardiac arrest, he hit his head but luckily there was a doctor in the gym who saw him and immediately started CPR and SubhanAllah if that isn’t amazing in itself by chance there was a doctor right there in this situation, the doctor also had a defibrillator at the back of his car which he used, so merciful the lord was even though he was not breathing and no oxygen to his brain for 30mins and was put into an induced coma he came out fully intact, no memory loss or paralysis. A few months later, after he had his ICD (pacemaker) placed in his heart, it gave him a shock which suggested another heart attack, and yet again by ALLAH’s MERCY he survived. A year later, he was driving on the motorway going 100 miles per hour with my brother-in-law in the passenger seat when again, his ICD shocked his heart he passed out on the steering wheel which caused dead weight on his leg which made the car go faster, but SubhanAllah my brave brother-in-law and his fast thinking and also by Allah’s mercy my brother-in-law was able to gain control of the car and luckily they both were fine. He felt so blessed to be given a baby girl, named Jannah in December 2019 and she is now 6 months old, I was there for my nieces birth beside my brother and he was ecstatic when she was born and the tears flowing out of his eyes as he instantly fell in love with her, he read the beautiful Adhaan in her little ear, she was his princess. My brother was a survivor, he never gave up and he always was thankful. He still was thankful everyday regardless of the continuous hospital stays, and several operations and different health problems. Everyday he woke up and never let his illness get him down. He was a funny, kind hearted individual and was taken from this world too young (29 years old). This year Ramadan is when we saw a big positive change in my brother, he started getting closer to Allah and donating generously as it was in his giving nature, although he couldn’t fast due to his condition he made the most out of Ramadan and encouraged his siblings to find the love for our religion, he regularly led jamaats in the house with the whole family, it was honestly beautiful. He read the Quran regularly out loud and I will miss the sound of his voice reading the holy Quran. My brother was such an amazing person, he would spend hours doing research and compiling his own lectures and during the evening he would sit down with his siblings and teach us more about our religion. I have tried my very best to portray the beautiful person he was, however there’s no words that can explain the true beauty of his soul. I have started this gofundme page so that we can give Sadqah Jariyah in his name and build water wells to places and villages which need it the most. The prophet (pbuh) states that the best charity to give is to provide water. May Allah reward you all for your kindness, and every penny that you give. Please keep my dear brother in your duas, and may Allah grant him Jannah. Ameen.
