Sadqah Jariyah in the name of our beloved Grandad-Father

Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Rahim

Asalamu alikum, unfortunately our beloved grandad/father (Haji Abdul Malik) was diagnosed with cancer and has sadly returned to his Lord on 31st March 25.

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un 

إِنَّا لِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

We are hoping to raise money to build a water well in Bangladesh in the name of our grandad/father. For a poor family who do not have access to clean water.

Our grandad/father was the kindest soul, always giving, always helping and always putting others before himself. He had a deep love for charity and never hesitated to lend a hand to those in need.

In his honour we want to continue his legacy of kindness by building a charity water well, a source of sadqah jariya that will benefit him in the afterlife, insha Allah.

By building this well, we pray that every drop of water benefits those in need and becomes a source of ongoing reward for our grandad/father in the Hereafter.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said,

“When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased).” (Muslim)

All donations will be sincerely appreciated and may Allah reward you for your help and may he make your donations as a means for you to enter Jannatul Firdous. The remaining money which exceeds the target will go towards helping poor families in Bangladesh.

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ ، وَارْفَعْ دَرَجَتَهُ فِي الْمَهْدِيِّينَ ، وَاخْلُفْهُ فِي عَقِبِهِ فِي الْغَابِرِينَ ، وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَلَهُ يَا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ ، وَافْسَحْ لَهُ فِي قَبْرِهِ ، وَنَوِّرْ لَهُ فِيهِ

Allāhumma-ghfir lah, wa-rfaʿ darajatahū fi-l-mahdiyyīn, wa-khlufhu fi ʿaqibihi fi-l-ghābirīn, wa-ghfir lanā wa lahū yā Rabba-l-ʿālamīn, wa-fsaḥ lahū fi qabrih, wa nawwir lahū fīh.

O Allah, forgive him, raise his rank among those who are guided, and take care of those he leaves behind him. Forgive us and him, O Lord of the worlds; expand his grave for him and illuminate it for him
