Help to donate in memory of my beloved Nani- Bodurun Nassa
As-Salaam-Alaikum,
إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعون
“Inna Lillahi wa Inna llayhi Raji'un”
Translation: “Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return.”
Allah (SWT) called back His beautiful creation, our beloved Nani (grandmother).
May Allah (SWT) grant her with Jannatul Firdaus, widen her grave and fill it with noor (light) and reunite her with our Nana, Ameen ya Rabb.
Nani was widowed at a very young age, with two children and expecting with my mother. She had so much sabr and was an incredible woman that always brought a smile to everyone’s face.
Her life revolved around Deen and her family. She was the pillar of our family, often engaging and reminding us of Allah.
She was a warm and loving person that always showed love to whoever she met. She has left a massive void in our hearts.
She has left behind a legacy of love, faith and family.
To honour her memory and continue helping others as she did throughout her lifetime, I am raising funds for Water Wells, build a home for less fortunate families and sponsoring the education of Hafiz and Alims (Students of knowledge) in her name, in Bangladesh. This will serve as a means of Sadaqah Jariyah for her, Insha'Allah, providing a continuous source of blessings and sustenance for her soul.
In Islam, a deceased person's earthly actions end, but three things can continue to bring them benefit and reward: ongoing charity (like an endowment or a continuous act of kindness), beneficial knowledge that others continue to use, and a righteous child who prays for their deceased parent.
Sa’d ibn ‘Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: "I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, “My mother has passed away. Can I give some charity on her behalf?” He replied, “Yes.” I then asked, “What type of charity is best?” The Prophet ﷺ said, “The best form of charity is providing water”. — (Sunan an-Nasa'i 3667).
I humbly ask you to join in this cause. Any contribution, big or small, will be a lasting gift in her name. Please also consider sharing this with others so the reward may reach further, and we can, with Allah’s help, meet our goal InshA’Allah.
Jazāk Allāh for all your duas, sadaqah and efforts. Please continue to make dua for my Nani and May Allah (SWT) be pleased with us. Ameen ya Raab.
