Sadie's Sleigh - Sadie Keller Foundation

In 2015, Sadie asked her oncologist if Santa would know to come to the hospital on Christmas Eve. She was worried he would go to the childrens’ homes instead of the hospital, leaving them without presents on Christmas morning. Sadie created a toy drive called Sadie’s Sleigh to make sure any child fighting cancer over Christmas would still have a special day.

Every year the number of toys collected has grown more than Sadie ever expected. Thanks to people like you, we have surpassed all of our goals and we are able to help more and more children have a special Christmas. Since 2015, our donations have grown more than 1,000%! You can help us reach our goal of 20,000 presents this year!

About Sadie and her foundation:

Sadie Keller Foundation (SKF) was founded in 2016 by Sadie and her family after Sadie was diagnosed with Leukemia when she was seven years old. In 2015, Sadie started a toy drive named Sadie’s Sleigh. Since Sadie’s Sleigh began she has collected over 36,000 toys for oncology patients across North Texas, in the hospital on Christmas. Her toy drive has grown all across Texas, Florida, Chicago, Philadelphia and beyond. In addition to Sadie’s Sleigh, Sadie gives Milestone Gifts to childhood cancer fighters as they reach a milestone in their treatment. So far Sadie has given over 700 Milestone Gifts! Parent Packs began in 2018, and provide $500 in gift cards to support parents in the hospital for long periods of time with their child. Sadie lobbies on Capitol Hill for more childhood cancer funding. She has been invited to the White House several times for the bill signing of the STAR Act and to participate in a round table discussion about childhood cancer with the Vice President.

Sadie is a public speaker, activist, and is on a mission to raise awareness and bring smiles to childhood cancer fighters all over the country.
