Sadie's Next Step After 170lb Weight Loss: Skin Removal
Donation protected
Hi! My name is Sadie and over the last several years I have been on a weight loss journey to save my life and improve my overall health. I have lost 170 pounds, 105 in the last year. I finally did it, I finally lost the weight. I am no longer a Type 2 diabetic, and I am more active than I have ever been. But with that much weight loss comes loose skin. I have been left with a ton of loose skin, and I do mean a ton. My doctor has estimated 10-15lbs of loose skin. On my stomach, back, arms, and my legs. This skin has made it difficult for me to work out and stay active, given me skin rashes, not to mention the toll it has on my mental health. It's hard to believe I'm a 29-year-old girl when you look at me with all the saggy skin. I have documented by journey on my Instagram and TikTok accounts, and have gotten so much love and support, and built a real community. I have gotten several comments and messages telling me to fundraise to help with my surgery costs. My insurance will not cover the costs of the procedures that I need.
Any and all donations will be used to help fund my skin removal surgery. I have already paid $5,000 toward my first round. Only $18,035 to go. I will make it there but only with your help. Please consider donating, and if you can't feel free to share. Thank you!
