Sadie's Head Shave for the Oncology Garden @ UHL
Tax deductible
Hello, my name is Sadie and on the the 31st of March 2022 I will be shaving my head to raise funds for the Oncology Unit Garden at University Hospital Limerick.
My beautiful mother, Marie Kett, passed away in the Oncology Unit @ UHL on April 22nd, 2021. My family and I spent a lot of time in the Oncology Unit with her during the week of her passing. In between visits we would spend time in the small garden at the Oncology Unit but would often have to take chairs from offices to have someplace to sit.
From my head shave, I would like to raise enough funds to purchase some benches for the Oncology Unit garden so family and patients can have somewhere they can sit and spent time together outside of patient rooms.
The benches that would be purchased are sustainable, eco-friendly plastic benches that require no maintenance or up-keep and are from the Irish company recycledplastic.ie.
Please help me raise enough to purchase a few benches so both patients and families can feel a little more comfortable during what is one of the most difficult times anyone can ever experience.
Thank you for looking and for your generosity.
Kindest regards,
Sadie (Serena) Kett Keogh
