Sadie's Harp Scholarship
Donation protected
Sadie is a 10th grade student who has been studying harp for 5 years. Today she got some bitter-sweet news. We found out she has been accepted into the Sewanee Summer Music Festival. This is one of our country's premier orchestra and chamber music training festivals and it hosts talented students from all over the world. It really is such a great honor for her to be accepted, as a harp student, into this amazing program. The problem is that when she auditioned, it was with the hope that she would get a full scholarship for her tuition. She did not get the full scholarship so she may not be able to attend.
If Sadie does get to go she will have 4 weeks of intensive training with amazing faculty and conductors. She will be living days full of music and practice with other students with similar ambitions.
In order for Sadie to get this opportunity, we need help funding the remainder of her tuition, $3,475. Even a few dollars can go a long way. And share with friends. Thanks!!!
*** April 14th - Thanks to your donations so far we were able to pay the down payment that saves a spot for Sadie. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
***May 15th- Thanks again to your donations we were able to pay the tuition. We still could use help funding transportation for Sadie and her harp. Thank you all so much!
