Sadie's Gift

Our little girl, Sadie Grace, would have tuned five this June and headed off to Kindergarten in the fall. Since we cannot send her, we would like to gift her elementary school with new playground equipment to welcome the incoming class of 2031 (yikes!). Her short life brought us immense love and it is our honor to return that love to the world in her name.
To kickstart this campaign, we have donated $1,000. While that might seem like a lot, quality commercial playground equipment is very expensive. Please help us honor her life, and the lives of all children and their parents that won’t have the opportunity to take those precious “first day” pictures.
100% of all donations will go directly to Rural Point Elementary School. Any money raised beyond the amount needed for the purchase and installation of the new equipment will go into a special fund. This fund ensures that no child misses lunch or an opportunity to attend a field trip with their classmates. The fund also relieves teachers from using their personal funds to purchase school supplies not provided by the county or students.
Since donations go directly to the school, your donation is fully tax-deductible! The school’s tax ID number is 54-6001342.
If you don’t feel comfortable making a donation online, you can mail a check directly to the school. All checks should be made out to Rural Point Elementary School. Please write “Sadie’s Gift” in the memo line so that funds are deposited to the correct account. The school address is 7161 Studley Road, Mechanicsville, VA 23116.
