Help Sadie study abroad in Argentina this summer!

Hello, my name is Sadie Seilhan and I am studying abroad in Argetina for a month this summer. I have been trying to participate in study abroad programs since I started college in 2019. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the global restritctions enforced, all the study aborad opportunities available to me were cancelled. Now, I am a graduate teaching assistant and student in the department of World Languages, Literatures, and Cultures at LSU. This summer, the only study abroad program to a Spanish speaking country available to graduate students is going to Argentina! This is a great opportunity for me, I have been speaking Spanish since I was very young because I attented an immersion program K-9. I continued pursuing my education in Spanish and now I am studying Hispanic Linguistics. I plan to apply for a Spanish instructor position at LSU after I graduate this fall. This opportunity would serve me as an incredible immersive experience into a new culture and a language that I love so dearly as I would be taking classes at an Argentine university as well as living with a host family! Any donated funds will be directy used towards program fees, tuition fees, and travel fees. The program itself costs around $3800. This does not include airfare or tuition fees. Anything helps!!
