Hi everyone I am creating this Fundraiser in order to help my Sister in Law and their sweet Family below you will see the details.
Some of you may know that Sadie Krepline has had 3 emergency/life saving surgeries since New Year’s Eve. She was life-flighted to Milwaukee Children’s Hospital. Sadie had malrotation and intussusception of the intestines. She had emergency surgery New Year’s Eve to untwist her intestines. They left her incision open for a day and a half to give them time to regain blood flow to make sure they were still healthy. Praise Jesus, they were. So her doctors were able to remove her appendix and close her up with no complications! She spent 9 days at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.
She did wonderfully until February 17. She started vomiting and ended up back at CHW that night. It was confirmed that she had a bowel obstruction caused from the scar tissue from her previous surgeries.
She was taken to surgery on the 18th to resect the scar tissue and fix the current obstruction and to hopefully prevent any future obstructions.
During the first stay, Bri’s parents and my self stayed in a hotel near the hospital with Boe. During the second, Chris stayed in the same hotel with Boe because Ronald McDonald House was full. Chris did have to travel between the hospital and home to work a few days so he drove two hours back and forth several times during both hospital stays. Luckily, Bri is a stay at home mom, so there was no income lost there. Chris has had to cancel several lessons and is now doubling up to make up for lost income, therefore away from family much more during this stressful time. Medical bills are starting to roll in, and although they have insurance, there have been many other expenses pop up. The worst part of this is that since Chris needs to work more he’s losing precious family time.
They are beyond thankful for all the prayers allowing the best outcome for Sadie! They feel blessed that Sheri & Bri’s mom were able to fly up for support, Chris’s parents were able to watch Boe while he worked, and for everyone that has reached out during this time.
I would like to Thank You in advance on behalf of the family for any assistance you can give. Please continue to pray that Sadie continues to heal and has no more setbacks. Much love to you all.
