Sadie & Mila - Sarah's Memorial Fund

Sarah Elizabeth Hugo, 35 fought with everything she had to stay in this world with her two beautiful girls, Sadie & Mila.  On the morning of 11/18/2020, she passed away peacefully in her home. 

Four years ago, in March 2016, Sarah was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer.  The oncologists at the time anticipated she only had a few months left to live.

Sarah sought out the expertise of oncologists from around the country. She refused to take a prognosis of anything that would cut into the time she so desperately wanted to spend with her girls.  As a warrior, Sarah strived to maximize the time she had and channeled her energy into strengthening her body and soul for the fight of her life.

Through her journey, countless people were inspired.  She showed us all what it truly means to persevere through hardships with grit & integrity. 

Today, she leaves behind her two girls --- Sadie, 12 & Mila, 8. One of her requests from her sisters was to start a GoFundMe for funds to be placed in the girls' trust in order to assist them with the expenses they will incur.  Therapy, clothing, educational, and medical expenses
