Sadé: blossoming in new home but needs support with bills.

Hi,

I am Sadé, and I recently moved in with my new human. I wasn't feeling well at all, and was hungry ALL the time. TBH I wasn't sure I was going to like this new place, or this new human - because, well, things didn't always go so well for me. But anyway, turns out he's pretty OK.

Well, more than OK, I'm rather fond of him now. Fine, fine - actually I wouldn't be parted from him. Happy? He's a good cuddler. He has some culinary expertise and has gotten me to try some new things which I really didn't think I'd like. He’s also calm, and nice, and I even let him do the medications now, because he's explained that it will make me feel better. And you know, I think he might be right. I'm no longer hungry all the time, and he says I've put on weight - although I should point out it is rude to speak of a girl's weight.

NB - from a human friend:

Sadé had to be moved from her previous home due to her owner’s mental health difficulties and inability to care for her. She’s feeling much better than when she arrived and her hyperthyroidism is now thankfully under control with medication. She has been putting on weight, and is improving, but she may need some dental work and potentially a thyroid operation in the future. She has access to donation-based veterinary care, but there are still costs that we are struggling to cover: medications, vet fees, transport and a medicinal diet.

This is why we are asking for your support, to keep this precious girl happy and well with her lovely new human.

We have set a goal of £850 but all donations of any amount will help. We know times are tough for many people, and very much appreciate your help, as does Sadé, who is now blossoming with the right care and a whole lot of love.
