Climbing Ben Nevis on 12th May 2025 ⛰️

I set this fundraiser up towards the end of last year when I had planned to hike the ‘saddleworth 3 peaks’.

Sadly, I was ill with covid & had to pull out of the organised date.

I had planned to reschedule this in April, but I have been presented with an even bigger & better opportunity!

On 11th May a team of 7 of us are travelling to Scotland to climb Ben Nevis.

All of the accommodation & arrangements are planned and we will climb the 4,413 ft on the 12th May!

Ben Nevis is the highest mountain in Great Britain & it will definitely be a much tougher challenge than originally planned.

In fact, I will be doing the ‘3 peaks of saddleworth’ as a warm up before the big event!

All money raised will go straight to Willow Wood & between the 7 of us we would love to raise a combined amount of £1000.

Why Willow Wood?

They provided the very best care to my mother-in-law & my family when we needed it most.

It is our local hospice & provides so much to the local community that we want to give something back.

They provide free of charge, the highest quality supportive and end of life care to patients with life limiting illnesses, along with love, care and support to families and carers during illness and continuing after bereavement.

I will of course post pictures from the day & update when I have completed the challenge.
