Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un.

My dear friend, Aman Mansoor, has lost his beloved father, Mansoor Altaf, who has returned to Allah ﷻ. He was a devoted and loving father of five children, the youngest only 10 years old. His life was dedicated to providing for his family and raising them with love, care, and faith.

The loss of such a kind-hearted man has left a deep pain in the hearts of his children, family, and all who knew him. But as Muslims, we believe that even though his soul has returned to its Creator, his legacy can continue through ongoing acts of goodness.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“When a person dies, all his deeds come to an end except three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for him.” (Muslim)

To honour his memory, we are raising funds for Sadaqah Jariyah (continuous charity) in his name. This will include projects such as providing clean water, supporting orphans, planting trees, or other causes that bring lasting benefit. Every drop of water, every act of kindness, and every prayer supported through this will be a source of reward for Mansoor Altaf, insha’Allah.

This is also a way for his children, especially Aman and his siblings, to find comfort in knowing that their father’s name will live on through acts of goodness.
