26th January 2026 is the day our family will never forget. It’s the date we unexpectedly lost our beloved brother. From a young age, his life was filled with tests from Allah. He fought cancer twice, lived with heart failure, and eventually went through a heart transplant. Through all of this, his faith never left him. No matter how difficult things became, he stayed patient and always put his trust in Allah. His passing has left a huge emptiness in our lives. The hardest part is seeing the pain our mother carries every day. No mother should ever have to bury her child. Even while he was unwell himself, he always looked after our sick mum. He would cook for her, care for her, and make sure she was okay until the very end. That was the kind of person he was, always thinking of others before himself. As a family, we want to honour him in a way that will continue to benefit him in the next life In Shaa Allah. The Prophet ﷺ said: “When a person dies, their deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for them.” (Muslim) We hope to raise funds to build a Masjid in his memory as Sadaqah Jariyah In shaa Allah. Any donation, no matter how small, will mean a lot to our family. In Shaa Allah we are able to meet our target and build the Masjid soon and our elderly mother is able to see the sadaqah Jaryiah for her son in her lifetime. May Allah reward you for your kindness and grant him the highest place in Jannah. Ameen.
