Sadaqah Jariyah for Sumaya Yussuf

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

With heavy hearts, we say goodbye to our sister, Sumaya Yussuf. إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ *"Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we shall return."

She was a daughter, a sister, and a friend, but to everyone who knew her, she was also a ray of sunshine always smiling, always bringing warmth and kindness wherever she went. Her presence could light up a room, and her heart was filled with love for those around her.

But as Allah reminds us: *"كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَائِقَةُ ٱلْمَوْتِ ثُمَّ إِلَيْنَا تُرْجَعُونَ"* (العنكبوت 57) *"Every soul will taste death. Then to Us will you be returned."* (Qur'an 29:57)

Death is something none of us can escape, and in these difficult times, we turn to Allah for comfort and ask for your duas. May He grant Sumaya ease in her grave, make her among the righteous, and reunite us with her in Jannah.

To honor her beautiful soul, we hope to build a well in her name—a *Sadaqah Jariyah* (continuous charity) that will provide clean water to those in need and be an ongoing source of reward for her in the Hereafter.

The Prophet ﷺ said: *"أَفْضَلُ الصَّدَقَةِ سَقْيُ الْمَاءِ"* (أحمد) *"The best charity is giving water to drink."* (Ahmad)

We ask Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Loving, to grant Sumaya peace and comfort in her grave. May He make it spacious and filled with light, and may He grant her eternal rest among the righteous. O Allah, forgive her sins, elevate her ranks in Jannah, and shower her with Your mercy. Ya Allah, when our time comes, grant us all a good ending and make our graves a garden from the gardens of Paradise. Ameen.

Any donation, big or small, will help us complete this act of love and mercy for Sumaya. May Allah reward you all and grant her the highest place in Jannah.

"وَمَن سَقَىٰ مَاءً وَلَوْ شَرْبَةً سَقَاهُ ٱللَّهُ مِ رَوَاحِيقِ ٱلْجَنَّة* (الترمذي) *"And whoever gives [even] a drink of water, Allah will give him a drink from the fountains of Paradise. (Tirmidhi)
