Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un – To Allah we belong, and to Him we return.
8th May 2025 7:30am. Salaah Haji Ali has returned to Allah. A father, husband, brother, uncle. He was a man of compassion, humility, honour, and generosity.
He was a man who never hesitated to help, made everyone laugh, smile; kindness beyond measure. He was an amazing father, husband, brother, cousin, uncle, and friend.
As he’s returned to Allah, our family has suffered a huge loss, but without a doubt he is in no longer in pain, no longer suffering and Insha’Allah reunited with his parents. May Allah grant him Jannahtul Firdous al a3la. May Allah widen and brighten his grave.
Insha’Allah, to honour his name, we are raising funds for ongoing charity after his death — Sadaqh Jariyah. Insha’Allah this will benefit him in the hereafter.
We will be raising funds solely for:
- Water wells in his name - in regions where access to clean water is limited.
- Donations to local mosques
- Food Aid
- Medical Aid
- Other charities beneficial for the less fortunate
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:
“When a person dies, all their deeds end except three: a continuing charity, beneficial knowledge, and a righteous child who prays for them.”
— (Sahih Muslim).
No donation is too small, and the most important donation will be the dua you can make for our beloved father. Please keep him in your dua’s; for Allah to widen his grave, protect him from the punishment of the grave, and for Jannah Insha’Allah.
