Sadaqah Jariyah For Our Beloved Father

،السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

إِنَّا لِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُون

 

Our beloved father Haji Moinul Hoque returned to his maker Allah (swt) on 31st March.

 

We have decided to create a gofundme page as many people have been in contact asking if they could donate towards charity on behalf of my father.

 

OUR FATHER

It is difficult to put into words how much our dad meant to us and what an amazing man he truly was. He was a kind, caring person with a gentle soul and possessed a contagious smile that would fill others with warmth. He was loved by so many and his generosity had no bounds. He helped so many people in various ways and never asked for anything in return. He was the most amazing father anyone could ask for and will be dearly missed.

 

He remained incredibly positive, pious and steadfast in his faith throughout his test of battling cancer. Never complaining and taking on this challenging test with great strength and sabr.

 

May Allah (swt) have mercy on him, forgive him of all his sins and accept his good deeds. May Allah (swt) widen his grave, make it a peaceful resting abode, and make his descent honorable. May Allah (swt) grant him Jannatul Firdous and reunite us all in the hereafter. Ameen.

 

AIM

Our primary goal is to raise funds for water projects in Bangladesh - building hand pumps and deep tube wells. Depending on the funds raised, contributions will also go towards planting trees, supporting orphans, mosque projects, feeding the hungry and other forms of charity as sadaqah jariyah on behalf of my father.

 

The Prophet ﷺ said, “The best of what a man leaves behind are three: a righteous child who supplicates for him, ongoing charity the reward of which reaches him, and knowledge that is acted upon after him.”

 

Charity does not decrease wealth and no amount is too small.

 

I kindly request you to make any donation no matter how big or small, it will all be hugely appreciated, especially in the blessed last 10 days of Ramadan.
