In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved sister, Faduma Salad. May Allah have mercy on her soul, forgive her with a complete forgiveness that leaves no trace, and grant her the highest place in Jannatul Firdaus. Ameen ya Rabb.
Faduma was truly a pillar in our community, and most importantly in her family. She carried herself with kindness, gentleness, and a sincerity that touched everyone she met. She was a thoughtful daughter, a loving sister, and a cherished aunt whose presence brought warmth and comfort to all her loved ones. She was selfless with her time and energy, always willing to help and care for others, a reflection of the compassion she carried in her life as a nurse. She uplifted those around her without seeking recognition, and her impact will continue to live on in all of us.
In her honor, we are raising funds as a form of Sadaqah Jariyah. A continuous charity that will benefit her even after her passing, inshaAllah. Through this effort, we hope to build something lasting that reflects the goodness she spread throughout her life.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) taught us that when a person passes away, their deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, and a righteous child who prays for them. We pray that this initiative becomes a source of ongoing reward for Faduma.
O Allah, forgive Faduma, have mercy on her, and grant her peace. Cleanse her of her sins as a white garment is cleansed of dirt. Expand her grave and fill it with light. Make her among those who are welcomed by the angels with glad tidings, and grant her a place among the righteous. Make her قبر a garden from the gardens of Jannah.
O Allah, admit her into Jannatul Firdaus without حساب, reunite her with the Prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous, and make her among the companions of those whom You love.
O Allah, accept this charity on her behalf as Sadaqah Jariyah. Let every الخير that comes from it be a نور for her in her grave and a means of elevating her ranks in Jannah.
O Allah, grant patience and strength to her family and loved ones. Heal our hearts, ease our grief, and reunite us with her in the highest levels of Paradise.
